Digital Health & Patient Safety Initiative
Testing digital tools and data-driven approaches that make care safer — from referral tracking to patient feedback channels.
About this program
The Digital Health & Patient Safety Initiative explores how low-cost digital tools can improve safety, continuity, and transparency of care. Pilot projects include simple referral-tracking apps, SMS-based patient feedback and complaint channels, digital checklists for facility teams, and dashboards that surface safety signals for managers. The Initiative focuses on pragmatic, privacy-respecting solutions that integrate into existing workflows and generate usable data for frontline teams and policymakers to act on quickly.
